As soon as you hear the word "saint," I bet you begin to imagine very holy people. Perhaps they are so holy that their feet never touch the ground, right? Maybe a saint is a very religious person who has separated themselves completely from the world around them. What if the bible had something totally different in mind when it calls people saints? What if a saint is just a person who lives out everyday life, you know, real relationships, finances, jobs, emotions - the normal things of life in extraordinary ways? Curious? Come and join us as we discover what it takes to be an Everyday Saint. You may be surprised! Everyday Saints: April 12th - July 5th
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
